A Jack of all trades, master of some.
A 3D Generalist specializing in Environmental artistry. Digital and traditional painting styles inspired a drive to immerse myself in creative works as a child. Professionally well rounded and enjoying picking at the minute details of every task, I've found something to love in everything. Working in a myriad of industries; television, technical support, administration, veterinary and emergency medicine, and other fields-- there's a need to experience as much as possible out of every field in-reach.
Full Sail University introduced high-pressure crunch conditioning. building up endurance and creative problem-solving during education. Those skills have quickly excelled my position in any workplace. Graduated as Valedictorian in 2013 with a Bachelors' of Science in Game Art-- leaving a need to drive harder and be better than ever. To stand out.
Though living in Lubbock, Texas; South Florida will always be home. There's never been much in the way of stable-living in one city for too long until the bags were packed for Texas. I'm happily married, have a fairly famous cat, and adore the time spent with cherished friends.
Hobbies include: content and blog-writing for Quora; where over a million readers have enjoyed a wordsmith-aligned skillset. Speed-painting characters and organic subjects is also high on my enjoyment list. Mixing music and editing videos rounds out a set of hobbies all rooted in a baseline of what I am good at, broadcasting.
Currently Jamie is a Technical Media Producer with Gray Television in the role of a Senior Supervisor. Directing newscasts will never be a passion, but coding and picking at the obscure Overdrive shots is always a pleasing experience. Being highly proficient in running day-to-day Master Control requirements for seven local-insert stations and well-over 30 feeds, television is just the right level of chaos to enjoy the puzzle of a stimulating job experience.
